Novella cover art by Brissia Jiménez
August 28, 2020: My video game tie-in novella is now out! No Way Home was written as a companion to the Wasteland 3 video game by inXile Entertainment, and explores a beloved main character’s adventures between W2 and W3. (Available as part of the Digital Deluxe Version of the game through Steam.)
I create art in a variety of mediums, including pen + ink illustrations, acrylic, oil, gouache and watercolor paintings, block prints, and more.
I write speculative fiction about angry ghosts, dangerous women, wistful robots, small monsters, smaller towns, hungry futures, and what we do to survive when we can’t do anything else.
I also write non-fiction essays on games (RPG and console), pop culture, comic books, science fiction, the history of food and cooking, art history, and Early American books and prints.
And in addition to my original fiction and nonfiction, I sometimes write fanfiction! It’s fun, it’s great practice, and I enjoy being part of a community of passionate writers and readers. You’re welcome to read my work over at AO3 – please check the ratings (a lot of my fic is explicit) and mind the tags!
I am always looking for new opportunities! Please contact me if you want to hire me to write for you. I’m happy to provide you with a quote and samples of my work.
